Pastor Yvette Chalmers!
Yvette T. Chalmers is a Christian, Devoted Wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother, God Mother, Spiritual Mother to dozens and a Youth & Young Adult Pastor at New Light Church - Chesapeake, VA where Darryl J. Mcclary Sr. serves as Bishop. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia she is known inside the Body of Christ as a voice of power and purpose to the youth.
Pastor Yvette is an Author and Founder of YCMinistries.
Pastor Yvette also is the Founder and Chancellor of Purpose Centered Academy. She has a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Biblical Studies. Pastor Yvette will be pursuing her entry level courses to obtain a Doctoral Degree in Theology Fall 2021.
She has a divine gift for teaching the word in practical ways that even a toddler would understand. She is Prophetic Preacher by illustration and demonstration.
God called Yvette to minister by 1 Corinthians 2:4:
"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power."
Pastor Yvette is a Prayer Warrior committed to interceding for others. She is a praiser of God and has steadfastly served in ministry for 18 years. She is radical in her expression with a prophetic voice and deep rooted passion about drawing youth to God's Kingdom. As a visionary and advocate for pulling youth from the street, Yvette wholeheartedly believes ministry is beyond four walls!
Pastor Yvette is a walking testimony of the Grace of God! Called from a street life and equipped with the Word! The Feds should've had her but FAVOR came and grabbed her!
